Vicki Nelson

Victoria A. Nelson (Reinsbach) was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1973 and is the daughter of Robert L. Nelson, founder of The Nelson Museum.

Vicki graduated from El Paso High School, El Paso, TX in 1992, then attended the University of Wyoming, acquiring her degree in Business Administration. After graduation, she first moved to Council Bluffs, IA, then Houston, TX to further her career in the financial arena, working in the field of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and credit.  Vicki moved with her family to Cheyenne in 2014.

Vicki has two children: daughter, McKayla and son, Colton. McKayla graduated from Cheyenne East High School in 2023 and and is currently enrolled in the CLAS program for persons with disabilities.
She hopes to attend Laramie County Community College to achieve an Associate's Degree in teaching (Art).  Colton attends Cheyenne East High School with plans to graduate in 2025.  Colton is an active member of the East High Band and East High Jazz Band.

Vicki and her husband Shawn share a passion for riding motorcycles. Their motorcycle club,
Second Brigade, supports the memory and honor of Vietnam and all Veterans, the POW/MIA
cause and numerous Veteran outreach programs. Another passion is collecting antiques (furniture
and household items). 

She is also a gifted crafter, constantly creating and designing her own works of art as gifts for friends and family and to contribute to fundraising for Second Brigade.

Vicki shares her Dad’s passion and is honored to a hold a position on the Museum Board to help
carry on his legacy.
