Elizabeth Nelson, a Wyoming native, graduated from the University of Wyoming with a business degree in 1971. She was employed with the State of Wyoming in various positions for 32 years and retired as the Director of the Department of Employment. Beth later worked at the Nelson Museum of the West and Manitou Galleries and auctions. She returned to Casper and served on the Unemployment Insurance Commission for six years.  She continues to serve as the Treasurer for the Nelson Museum.
